I'm Renaldo McAfee, alias "Proteus:Unbound".  I'm an Illustrator, Painter, and Graphic Designer.  Based in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area of Minnesota, I've shared my  talents  and works with local businesses and individuals.



My educational background:  I have a degree in Visual Communications, with an emphasis in Graphic Design.   I also continue to educate myself by keeping up  with current advancements in graphics and the technology used to create them as well as working with skilled, knowledgeable, and talented people.

Through my education and experiences, my skills and knowledge have vastly grown, and I continue to press forward.

I would describe my works to be surreal -- tapping into the unconscious mind -- or imagination;  I deviate from the constraints of what is "the normal" of reality, and have fun with it.  I am also captivated by the styles of Art Nouveau, U-kiyoue, Cubism, Abstract, and Post Impressionism.  Though I am most fond of these art styles, I have an appreciate for all in how they collectively diversify art as a whole.
